Carpe Diem accepts referrals from many agencies within Ontario. Although our focus is on infants and children, we also have a specialized program called “Stepping Out” for adolescents which is geared towards their specific needs including preparing them towards Independent Living. As an agency, we believe in the therapeutic power of the correct placement “match”, therefore if possible, we often like to meet the child and worker before recommending placement. Of course, we are also available for short-term and emergency placements when required.

Please have as much information as possible available for Mike.  Of particular help are previous Plans of Care, any assessments which might have been completed, or any available school records. Of course, geographical ties will also be considered.
